A 1914/15 trio to 3008 Pte J. Meehan. Manchester Regiment. As indicated on Meehan’s medal card he arrived in Gallipoli on 22^nd June 1915 and thus was obviously entitled to the trio. With the trio comes an original letter informing Meehan he had been awarded the accompanying 1914/15 star.Comes with a letter in original envelope informing Meehan he had been awarded the Star. Worthy of further research.

 A down side to the medals is that someone, at some stage of owning the medals has stuck blue tack on the back of the Star and VM. This has removed some of the original patina. Also the ribbons have been glued to card at some stage. I can replace the ribbons with another set original at the buyer’s request.
