Condition VF, slight edge bruising to BWM. The service number on the star is different.

 

George Brown was born in Nottingham in 1886

 

He landed on the Western Front with the 2nd Bn on 19th September 1914. Entitled to the clasp, he was later transferred to the Labour Corps after suffering a GSW to his right leg. 

 

Brown survived the war and was discharged due to his wounds in May 1919.
