GSM Malaya to Major Laing Royal Signals / Died Germany 1955

James Mollison Laing was born in Abroath on the 9th of December 1899. He joined the Royal Signals in April 1918. He served over 20 years before being commissioned. 

 

He served in WW2 and Malaya, Laing was then posted to Germany and became part of the BAOR. He sadly died in hospital at Hosbert on the 10th of January 1955 from Peritonitis.
